The client's existing data infrastructure comprised various legacy data warehouses, which limited its ability to efficiently process and analyse large volumes of case data. The organisation sought to implement a modern, medallion-architecture data warehouse and lakehouse, utilising Microsoft Synapse Analytics for ETL processes, Azure for infrastructure and data sources, and Power BI for visualisation. This transition aimed to improve data insights, reporting capabilities, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

Solution
